MDJ is a fashion jewellery company that we created with the express purpose of offering quality yet affordable jewellery to the marketplace. All our products are designed and manufactured in our studio in Cape Town.
Our jewellery has been displayed in fashion magazines like Femina, Elle, Essentials, Woman & Home, Glamour, The Beadbook while we have also been featured on television.
We commenced our operation in 2007 with the initial intention of appointing agents to sell our products from a catalogue. This soon evolved and we found our business gravitating towards a more focussed operation that saw us work with a variety of stockists, corporates, wedding and couture designers. Our jewellery is designed using a variety of Semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals and Freshwater pearls and these have been combined in the most spectacular of settings.
Whether you are interested in wholesale or find our exclusive once-off pieces more of a fascination, we are able to create something special for you - for any occasion, be it for business or pleasure.
I believe that jewellery is an extension of a person and needs to compliment the garments worn. It is truly amazing to see a clients face when they are excited about their jewellery.......that is truly why I am extremely passionate about designing for every individual clients requirements.

MDJ Jewellery Guarantee
We at MDJ guarantee that every piece of jewellery is thoroughly checked prior to being sold. However, should an item for any reason be found to have a defect, we will repair or replace the item -- provided that the jewellery piece has not been damaged, due to wear and tear or through not adhering to the care instructions given. Jewellery items must be returned within 45 days with proof of purchase.
MDJ Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity of MDJ's Designer Jewellery range the following needs to be considered:
- Avoid contact with perfume, body cream, detergents and water.
- Always take care when packing jewellery pieces away.
- Keeping items stored individually is the best way to look after your jewellery.
Please Note
Extensions are supplied with most necklaces & bracelets except for those with a T-bar and fob clasp. Should a particular length not be suitable, please enquire about the possibility to of having it altered.
All earring hooks are nickel-free -- however, should you prefer sterling silver hooks, please enquire and it can be changed for a nominal fee.
The charms on individual jewellery items MAY change from time to time, but the look of the jewellery item will ALWAYS remain the same.
By nature semi-precious stones are unique in that they may vary in slightly in colour and size.
